California has the only Tule Elk along with some Roosevelt Elk and Colorado has the Rocky Mountain Elk, it also has the larges population of any state. In fact Colorado has 1/2 of the Rocky Mountain Elk in the US. Arkansas doesn't have a huntable elk population.
The Grand "Wapiti" as the indians call them can adjust to any conditions and habitat as long as they feel safe. Flast land or Mountains, rain forest to desert area they will survive and flurish. Arizona Hunts produce some grand Trophy Elk every year, but of course to graw the license for one may take a numbe of years and every year the numbers creep higher.
Currently there is not a huntable Elk Population in these States
Idaho has the elk when looking at these states. It is a state with high mountiaon on one side and the cccc River on the other with a thin strip of land between them so as they say in Idaho every thing is either up or down. A bit of an exagertaion but you get the gist when huinting there. The other two states don't have a huntable population of elk.
These States don't have a huntable population of elk. Like many Mid-west states there are a number of high fence facilities that provide elk to the requestors.
Kansas, Kentucky and Lousiana are not known for their elk population. In fact Kentucky is the only state of the 3 that has had elk planted in the state and now have a limited season annnually.
With such little opportunity discounted hunt are non-exstint at this time.
