Between Maine, Maryland and Massachusetts, Maine is the only Bear hunting state and the subspecies is the Black Bear. In Maine bear hunting is usually over bait or with dogs.
Michigan and Minnesota have bear hunting with Coyote hunting in all three states.
Missouri doesn't have a Bear or Lion or Wolf season but there are coyotes. Montana has Bear, Lions, and all 3 states have Coyotes. Montana and Nebraska have Coyotes.
Nevada New Hampshire and NewJersey all have Black bears. Eastern Coast from New Jersey south have mild winter allowing the bears to eat 12 months ot of a yea and not loosing weight durring the winter hibernation providing big bears. New Jersey seasons are contraverserial and are implimented by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife
New Mexico, New York and North Carolina North Dakota all have black bears that are huntable. New Mexico has Mountaion Lions with none having Wolves. All three have Prarie Dogs or Wood Chucks.
