Maine has moose hunts every year. There are so many residents that put in each year your odds or drawing are better as a non-resident than a resident. I am not saying they are even good as a non-resident, just better than those of a resident. Mariland and Massachusetts don't have Moose, and none of these states have wild buffalo but semi-wild herds of Buffalo are found from time to time inside a fenced perimeter..
Michigan and Minisota have a very limited number of moose along the northern edge of the states. Wolves entering the area and the lack of being able to control the wolf population has decimated the whitetail and moose populations in these 2 states. Mississippi has never had a Moose population.
Buffalo in these 3 states are semi-wild and in a fenced enclosure owned by private parties.
Buffalo are found in semi-wild conditions inside fences like cattler through these states, there are no free roaming hunts in these states.
As far as moose there are none in these states.
Nevada, New Hamshire and New Jersey don't have any moose to hunt. Although Nevada has a few semi-Wild Buffalo in fences in sporatic locations through the states. The good meat of a buffalo and the healthy attributes of it make buffalo deserable for families and if it has a hnting situated connected and horns and a hide it is even better.
Moose are not available in new Mexico, New York or New hamshire, but you can fine private fenced Buffalo herds in New Mexico and semi-wild hunts to get them.
