The Mule Deer is native to the west, lives in the west and is hunted by many in the west. The bottom line is that the discounted Mule Deer hunts are all in the west with Wyoming smack in the middle of the Mule Deer's range.

South Dakota is the only one with Mule Deer, and western South Dakota known as "West River" using the Missouri River as the boundry has a good population of Mule Deer and is the only half of the state that Non-Residents could hunt deer with a rifle.

Tenesse is a whitail Deer state, South Dakota has Mule Deer west of the missouri River, Western Texas has some desert Mule deer but Utah has Mule Deer across the state.

Western #Washington has Mule Deer but the other states just have whitetails

Wyoming is a PRIME Mule Deer state, the others don't have any Mule Deer.

As they Say up north "O Canada." Mule Deer are predoment in British Columbia and as you travel east the whitetail become more dominent.
