VOUCHER UPDATE. Vouchers are in the Landowners hands and they wat to get them to you.
Watchdog will search 24/7 for the voucher that you request to secure your license for 1 of our hunt, or one for your hunt, but of course hunters going one 1 of our 835 hunts have the priority in receiving voucher contact information. Last year Watchdog was successful in getting 90% of Watchdogs requested Vouchers and license for the people that were in Watchdog. Keep in mind that Watchdog always searches with the priority being registration date. The longer you wait the less opportunity and the more licenses/Vouchers request that need to be provided before yours comes up.
We are the only ones with a Hunt GUARANTEE! With Watchdog® we Guarantee that you can hunt the West for Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, Whitetail, and even Moose, every year on PRIVATE LAND at discounted Prices for the rest of your life and have licenses available to make this dream come true. That is my Guarantee for fulfilling your dream. ! Greg Merriam
MOST OF THE VOUCHERS COME IN EVERY SPRING. tHEY COME FROM COLORADO, UTAH, NEW MEXICO, NEVADA, CALIFORNIA AND OREGON.
TO BE CONTACTED BY THE LANDOWNER WHEN YOUR FAVORITE VOUCHER IS AVAILABLE YOU MUST BE ON REGISTERED FOR
Watchdog® ($200 Discounted Down to $95 this month and $10 for each additional Hunt license Code.) IN ALL THE STATES YOU WILL BE CALLED BY THE VOUCHER OWNER TO WORK OUT THE PRICE AND TRANSFER DETAILS. DISCOUNTED HUNTS LLC, OWNER OF WATCHDOG
IS NOT PRIVY TO ANY OF THE DETAILS OF THE SALE BETWEEN YOU AND THE
OWNER OF THE VOUCHER, AND TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY IN IT. WE JUST COLLECT VOUCHERS OR VOUCHER INFORMATION TO PROVIDE THE HUNTER WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE VOUCHERS AVAILABLE.
If your voucher is
not available, or you cannot breach an agreement with the seller, then Watchdog has other ways to get you the license which it will do automatically for you. If the licenses is obtained it is a 1 time $100 for the
successful acquisition of the license. Also the license face value is also provided.
Watchdog assists hunters in putting together a short and long
term plan to hunt today, and to gather point toward a long
term plan as a giant Bull Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer Antelope. These are from the database that Watchdog gathers
from 28 states and Canada. This large database and and its
artificial Intelligence, and proprietary actions provides the hunter with a sure fire plan, and gathers the points you may need every year to reach you goal in multiple states. It also provides you the details so you can hunt every year for these trophies in different locations while you are building points at the same time for you trophy dream hunt.
There is no reason that you should ever go without a hunt every year just because, "You did not draw." Hunters that don't hunt every year
lose their hunting and shooting skills, and get old. In doing so they are not in their best condition to hunt that trophy of a
lifetime.
Our Goal is simple, you don't pay for what you don't need. You only get what you need, at the most cost efficient way. Everything from license to points to vouchers for multiple states can be handled for you. There is no need for you to know all of the license application and season dates, and odds for all of these locations, watchdog has the data and can do it for you. Last year we were successful in acquiring 92% of the licenses our hunters requested through the Watchdog system. Keep in mind we commonly get more than 1 request for a specific license. In that case Watchdog put the priority on "Who Registered First." The sooner you register the higher your odds, and it is always the same price $20.
To begin email your email address and
state that you want to be on Watchdog, and also on the FREE, "Pro-Staff Team," to be
privy to all information about hunts available. That information will help you define you current and future plan. Then Call Greg Merriam of Discounted Hunts, the owner of Watchdog, to get started with a plan and on Watchdog. DeerElkBear@Gmail.com 303-776-7528

Colorado, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, California and Oregon Landowner Voucher / Tag Sellers
Non-Profit Web Page for the Landowners and Hunters along with Watchdog Users to Facilitate hunting by Americans in multiple states on private and public Land.
LANDOWNERS AND VOUCHER OWNERS:
Landowner and Voucher Owner: If you have a Voucher or Tag from any State Contact me, If you want to buy a Voucher or Tag for any State contact me. Colorado Vouchers for Discounted Hunts LLC is a non-profit service to the hunters and the Landowners of Colorado. Even the Advertising you are looking at now is completely funded by Discounted Hunts LLC. We truly feel that hunters should be hunting, and if possible their children hunting with them. The voucher can provide access but the hunt on the property semi-guided or guided can also be added. Semi-Guided can be taking you out and show you where there private land fence lines are located if it is included with the Landowner Voucher/Tag.
The agreement of including the land access or not, like the price is completely between you and the hunter, we take no part in this except to provide the free advertising, provide a central location for Landowners and Hunters to meet , and provide contact between the hunter and the Landowner with the voucher. This is as per Colorado rules, WHICH ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the other states of Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, California and Oregon.
HUNTERS:
This web page has been provided as a non-profit service to the Hunter to be able to be contacted by the Landowner which has the voucher available. To be included you must be included in Watchdog®
by Registering and paying the $20 Registration fee.
When registered for any hunt code as soon as one comes in we provide the landowners of your name and phone number so that you two can work out the details of the sale. We don't get involved in this except to provide the Landowner with your phone number that you provide us.
In addition you are also registered for the Watchdog Service that can provide you a face value license for that same hunt code if one becomes available in Watchdog at Midnight, at am or any other time until October 1 of the Registration year.
If one is found, for you when one is found for you we will purchase it through your profile and it will come to you being Mailed directly from the CP&W to your house address with your name on it.
At that point for the Service you are billed an additional $100 if it is your own hunt or reduced to $75 if it is a hunt out of Discounted Hunts LLC. For the purchase you will be signing authorization to allow us to go in and purchase a license in your name during this period and providing us with you password during the period from registration to the time we secure you a license until October 1st of this year.
This authority is defined as the power of attorney to do a specific task which is defined and only that task.
We do understand that in the last few years the Colorado Parks and Wildlife has made the originally simple task of getting a big game hunting license a simple task to an extremely complex task that you must be a dime-store lawyer to understand. I don't feel that this direction is advantageous in a way that promotes hunters and the youth to feel that they are assured that they will get the correct license for the area that they plan to hunt. This is what we do.
We are here to assist the hunter in getting through this complex process of dates, hunt codes and hunting requirement along with laws to do everything possible that facilitates the growth of our hunters of today and our youth hunters of tomorrow.
Colorado and the other states has fantastic resources available for everyone's hunting enjoyment, but 1 bad license issue may not just stop the adult but his you from being a return huimter to the western states that have so much recreation to provide us Americans in a country that we are for a good reason so proud of.
Contact me at DeerElkBear@Gmail.com
if you need some hunting help, that is why I am here and why we provide this free service to our hunters.

Utah
Utah Vouchers go extremely fast for Cow elk because of their easy to access property, agricultural land usually growing alfalfa, and a slam dunk late season that goes into January 31 which is a prime time to know that the ekk will definitely be off the mountain and down in the easily to access area or the alfafa. Of course we run a extremely high level of success on these hunts and the bulk of the buyers are returns hunters from last year, and the year before that, and the year before that an.... Now of course these are not high fence elk hunts, they are wild free ranging elk so it is definitely a hunt so I wouldn't recommend it for a group of 1st time elk hunters but with a hunt or two you will see why many hunters do this every year and their freezer is never empty.

Hunt Property Leases By State are Available on the Hunting Lease Page

Vouchers or tags for Western State Elk, Mule Deer and Antelope.
In the western States it is a system that allows the landowner the right to sell the Voucher or Tag that he got because he owns the land and applied to the state Game and Fish Department for it. Vouchers are sold to the hunter much the same as, "horse trading." There is no set price it is what amount that the landowner can get for the voucher or tag from the hunter. On the other hand the hunter if they didn't draw a license it is all about what id the value to him to have that right to be able to bypass the license application and draw process and end up with a ranch wide or unit wide license for the antelope, deer, or elk hunt license. The price can loosely follow the value of land access if there is any, the animal average size in that area. The weapon used for that hunt, the time of year of the hunt as the rut vs non rut and more.
In Colorado the hunter and the landowner work directly with each other on the purchase of the voucher. In all of the other states there are no restrictions on the parties negotiation the price.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When purchasing a big game hunting property in the West, the availability of landowner tags can be an important factor. Landowner programs were established to acknowledge the contribution of private lands to support wildlife and provide a form of compensation to landowners for resources used by wildlife. Permits or tags are typically available to landowners, family members and others designated by the landowner based on the acreage owned. In most cases, the recipient may only hunt on the property for which he/she is registered. Landowners who are absentee owners can greatly benefit from these tags especially when a property is in a game management area that is hard to draw permits. Different states have varied landowner programs that include what qualifies a landowner, property qualifications, acreage requirements, species requirements and other factors. Since all states are not the same, before assuming what the landowner tag program is in a particular state, it is important to research the state’s laws and contact the state’s wildlife regulatory agency. In most states,15% of deer, elk and antelope licenses in limited units are reserved for landowners.
Colorado
It is also important to remember that there are land registration requirements and application deadlines that apply to landowners. Landowners must comply with all state laws and requirements to be successful in acquiring tags. Some states provide a Landowner Preference Program that allows landowners to build preference points to increase the odds in drawing a tag. For example, a Colorado deeded landowner who registers with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, may be eligible for landowner tags if the property is used primarily for agricultural purposes, is inhabited by the species applied for, and they own a contiguous parcel of at least 160 acres. In addition, based on the number of deeded acres registered, the landowner may be eligible for multiple tags. Tags are issued based upon the population of each specific animal in a landowner’s game management unit and tags will not be issued unless it is deemed that there is enough of that species to warrant a tag. Colorado also has a voucher system that allows a landowner to transfer a tag to a third party.
Montana, Utah, & Wyoming
In Utah, landowner tags are transferable, however landowners must own at least 640 acres to be eligible. In Wyoming and Montana, landowner tags are not transferable. Wyoming requires that the deeded owner of 160 acres or more be an individual, partnership, corporation or trust or have the property under written contract to apply. Spouses, parents, grandparents or lineal descendent can use the tags in Wyoming. Montana operates on a landowner preference and sponsor program and requires 160 acres for deer and 640 acres for elk tags. A registered resident landowner deer combination license can be applied for when a landowner is granting access to hunting on the property to a nonresident hunter.
Kansas
In Kansas, “Hunt-On-Your-Own-Land Permits” are available to resident or non-resident landowners or tenants who actively engage in agricultural practices on 80 acres or more of Kansas property. To qualify as a nonresident landowner, a person must own property in fee simple ownership with their name on the deed. Property held in a trust, LLC, partnership, or other legal entity is owned by that legal entity. Permits on properties owned by a legal entity are available only to tenants who either farm at least 80 acres, or manage an 80 acre or larger farm that produces an agricultural commodity such as crops or cattle. Special hunt-own-land deer permits may be issued to a landowner’s or tenant’s siblings and lineal ascendants or descendants, or their spouses, whether or not a Kansas resident. These tags are not transferable.
Nebraska
In Nebraska, owning or leasing 80 acres or more of land for the purpose of agricultural production by the owner or leaseholder may receive a limited landowner permit for antelope and deer. Maximum number of landowner permits allowed for one farm or ranch is determined by the size of the property in acres divided by 80. Owning 320 acres or more of land dedicated to agricultural production may receive a limited landowner permit for deer. Only one permit will be issued per 320 acres. Hunting is restricted to the land owned/operated by the owner or leaseholder and described on the application. Hunting leases do NOT qualify. Eligible family members may hunt together on the described land but are not required to live in the same household. Landowner permits are not transferable. For Elk, landowners with property within an elk management zone are eligible to apply. Valid in open seasons with appropriate weapons for one elk (sex depends on unit). Bull permits are issued by drawing and preference points and landowners can only draw a bull permit once everey 5 years and a cow permit once every 3 years.
In all of these states, landowners are not guaranteed licenses without following specific state requirements. Landowner hunting tags are a great benefit to owners of hunting properties. The foregoing is intended to be a short summary of the laws in these states. Be sure to contact a state’s wildlife agency to get specific information on these programs.

Colorado Landowner Voucher Program Changes as the years change, better or worse for the hunter or the Landowner, just change.
This is sometimes a hot topic. Right up front, I'll say I play both sides of the fence as I've bought the vouchers before but have also seen the downside of climbing voucher prices and other issues. Anyway, they're having another meeting:
The landowner voucher program offers hunting licenses to private landowners whose farms and ranches provide habitat for big game. The program has evolved over the course of five decades and today enrolls approximately 5,000 properties across Colorado that allow hunting for deer, elk and pronghorn.
"The landowner voucher program helps us manage Colorado's wildlife by building relationships with private landowners, encouraging good stewardship practices and providing additional hunting opportunity," said Cables. "Because private lands play such a key role in supporting Colorado’s wildlife, we all have a stake in strengthening this important program."
Two years ago, the former Division of Wildlife convened a committee of landowners, sportsmen, outfitters and wildlife managers to address concerns that had built up through the years. The committee held more than 20 public meetings and dozens of informal meetings across the state. Members developed a package of recommendations which include tightening enforcement of the program's rules and providing a stronger connection between the voucher program and the habitat value of participating ranches.
Under current rules, up to 15 percent of deer, elk and pronghorn licenses in each totally limited hunting unit are made available through a draw process for landowners who own at least 160 contiguous acres of agricultural land. The licenses are valid throughout the entire game management unit where the private land is located and can be sold or transferred to any eligible hunter.
The recommendations for improving the program include changing the proportion of licenses set aside for landowners and tightening up program eligibility rules to ensure that participating properties are used by big game animals. The recommendations also call for closer enforcement of program rules, including eligibility requirements and bans on "brokering" of hunting licenses.
"We've worked for a long time to understand the concerns sportsmen and landowners raised about the program and how it is currently operated," said Cables. "We believe these changes will improve the program and strengthen the partnership between landowners and sportsmen that we need to best manage big game populations that depend on private lands."
