Ohio and Oregon don't have Hogs but Oklahoma Does. None Have Javalina, and they all havebird hunting.
Pennsylvania and RhodeIsland are to far for good hog hunting where south Carolins still has its share of hogs. When it comes to birds they all have the seaducks and waterfowl. Timberdoodle or woodcock and ruffed grouse all fill the pot of good hunting in the 3 states.
South Dakota to have areas of the state that have the highest phesant Concentrations in the world righ in Gregiory coubty with neighboring counties have verry good populations as well.
South Carolina and Tennessee have the hogs but these 3 states do not have Javaline that are prominent in the South Western States.
They all have game bird populations and there are even some Bird ranches with Phesants, Chuckar Partridge and Quail today.
The Big State of Texas gets 2 Stars when it comes to Hogs and Janelina. Javelina By Seymore and in the southern hunting zone. Utah Vermont and Virginia have more bird hunting than hogs with phesants, Grouse, Doves and waterfowl. In fact The big state of Texas is also number 1 for their Morning, Eurasion and whitetewing Dove populations across the state.
Helocopter Hunting for Hogs in Texas has become extremely popular and difficult to get a opening to hunt this very successful way to put hogs down for the count. On the other hand they all have waterfowl and some form of grouse from Ruffed Grouse to the monster Sage Grouse in Wyoming. Also they all ahve Turkey.
A bit north for free ranging hogs but fine for high fence hunting. The ducks and geese round out the waterfowl along with numerous sub-species of Grouse.
